Seymour Johnson AFB Hunting Program Information
Hunting seasons range from September to December depending on the weapon being used. Check out our Facebook page and the FSS Calendar for the mandatory briefing dates in the fall.

In order to be eligible to hunt on SJAFB, you must be active duty, reserve, retired, civil service or contractor; or the dependent of one of the aforementioned. You are required to get your North Carolina Hunting License, which can be purchased at places such as Dick’s Sporting Goods. After you have received your NC license, you can then come to Outdoor Recreation (ODR) and purchase your Sportsman Card. This is good for the season and costs $10 per person. After you have purchased your Sportsman Card you can then sign up for a hunting area. We take reservations for these areas up to one week prior. The daily fee for each hunting area is $5. This is due at the time you reserve your spot. You cannot reserve more than one day in one week.

If you would like any more detailed information about the SJAFB Hunting Program, please contact Lynn Grantham at (919) 722-1104.

Walt Disney World: Returning to the World of Magic

Know Before You Go

  1. Park attendance is managed via the Disney Park Pass reservation system, which guests will use to make theme park reservations. To enter a Walt Disney World® theme park, both a park reservation AND valid admission for the same park on the same date are required for each person in the guest’s party, ages 3 and up. A park reservation must be made for each day of entry. For multi-day tickets, guests will be required to make a park reservation for each date of their visit. Prior to purchasing a ticket, the guest should check park availability by visiting the Disney Park Pass Availability page.
  2. In addition, prior to purchasing a ticket, guests should visit the following page for important information about park reopening, reservations, limitations on benefits, features, experiences and offerings, new safety measures and other information. Click Know Before You Go
  3. Immediately after purchasing a ticket, the guest should visit My Disney Experience, create a profile (if the guest does not already have one), and using the ticket or confirmation number, link the ticket to the profile and then make park reservations. We highly recommend that guests make their park reservation as soon as they complete their ticket purchase, as availability can change until the reservation is finalized.
  • No park hopping until further notice.
    • WDW is a One Park Per Day Experience.
    • Although Armed Forces Salute is a Park Hopper product, guests can only visit one park a day, depending upon reservations.
    • No compensation to guest for not being able to use the Hopper entitlement portion of the ticket. **This applies to all tickets with Park Hopper option
  • Water parks are not open at this time and until further notice.
