CHANGES IN OPERATIONS

The Fitness Center is open to all eligible persons — Monday-Friday: 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday-Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

-The maximum fitness center capacity is 60.
-Masks/facial coverings are required upon entry into the facility and as you are walking around the center, but not as you are actively working out.
-No children allowed.
-The racquetball courts and saunas remain closed.
-Latrines and sinks (hand washing only) are open.

-No group exercise classes.
-The basketball court is open to a maximum of 20 people — 10 on the court and 10 in the stands.
-The MEN’s locker Room MAX capacity has INCREASED to 10 personnel and 4 showers are open.
-The WOMEN’S main locker room MAX capacity is 4 personnel and 2 showers are open.
-The locker room near the Parent/Child area will be closed so make sure to utilize the appropriate locker rooms/bathrooms.

Guidance for Shower use is as follows:

  • Shower Shoes are REQUIRED to use the shower
  • After shower use, each patron MUST use the spray bottle provided to SANITIZE the shower used.
  • Bring your own towel
  • Do not forget to REMOVE all personal belongings after use (no locker storage over night or in shower area)

*Please continue to practice good SOCIAL DISTANCING in the locker rooms and throughout the facility. If you have ANY symptoms of COVID-19, have a positive test for COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days of your visit, PLEASE self-report and REFRAIN from entering our facility.

Fitness Center renovations underway

Phase I of our renovation project is partially complete. The main entrance portion is now open as an entrance only point. The Distinguished Visitor (DV) entrance, located on the Langley Avenue side of the building, is closed, and the unmanned access door will serve as the exit only point until further notice.

Fitness Center Unmanned Fitness Access Program (After Hours Access)

– Register at the Fitness Center with your CAC (Retirees/dependents will receive a Fitness Access card)
– Read and sign Unmanned Access Statement of Understanding
– Take a tour of the facility- Complete an equipment orientation (if needed)
***PLEASE note Unmanned Fitness hours are from 10:10 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. during the week and from 5:10 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Customers will not be able to access the Fitness Center during these hours until they have registered.

Air Force Sports Program

The Air Force Sports Program (AFSP) is designed to allow Active Duty, National Guard and Air Force Reserve members an opportunity to participate at Air Force, Armed Forces, national and international sporting competitions. The AFSP is comprised of 15 different sports (for complete list see the AFSP calendar).  To apply for the program, athletes must submit a completed AF Form 303, Request for USAF Specialized Sports Training.  Experience cited in higher level competition and recent significant performances in the sport are important to the selection criteria. Experience listed in section IV should be in reverse chronological order, beginning with the most recent and working backwards. Finally, athletes must obtain supervisor’s, commander’s, and Fitness Center Director’s endorsements on the AF Form 303. Athletes selected for training are invited to attend trial camps and other Air Force championship events. Trial camps are short in duration, physically demanding, mentally challenging and highly competitive. Athletes should be in top condition for the trial camps to best showcase their talents and abilities to the coach and other officials who will select the AF team.
