The SJAFB Child Development Center (CDC) offers care for children between the ages of 6-weeks and 5-years old. The CDC is a Department of Defense certified, and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. As a quality early childhood program, the curriculum offered builds a basic positive foundation for education in the areas of math, science, literacy, and the arts while encouraging social and emotional development.
At the Child Development Center (CDC), helping young children become their very best is what we do!
We have a passionate staff, a 21st-century curriculum, top-notch classrooms, and a commitment from our hardworking families - that's you! Together we help your children reach their full potential.
The Parent Advisory Board (PAB) is made up of parents from all the Child and Youth Services Programs (CYP's). The PAB acts in an advisory capacity, providing recommendations for improving services. The chairperson of the PAB is a parent.
The Parent Advisory Board meets with the Child and Youth Services Flight Chief and Center Directors quarterly and with the Mission Support Group Commander annually.
If you are interested in attending your center's Parent Advisory Board meeting, please see your center's director for more information.
