Seymour Halloween Spooktacular

It's that time of year again...spooky season has arrived! CPPO is bringing you a scary good time on October 29, from 6 - 8 pm. Ghouls, ghosts, witches, monsters, and everything in between are invited to this FREE, family-friendly event. Scroll down for details on all the Halloween fun we've got planned.

Pumpkin Carving Contest
Pick up your pumpkin Oct 25 - 28

Carve out some family time and enter your pumpkin design for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights! Pumpkins will be available for pickup October 25 - 28 at the CPPO office in Eagles Landing, 1240 Andrews St. 

Categories are: Most Creative, Scariest/Goriest, and Best Overall

Bring your carved pumpkins to the judging booth by 7:00 pm to enter the contest. Winners will be announced at 7:30 pm.

Ready, set, carve!

Costume Contest
Categories for ALL ages

What's Halloween without a costume contest? Entering the contest is easy! Just dress up in your best costume, and meet at the DJ table for judging during your category's time. Categories and times are:

  • 0-3 years old - 6:20 pm
  • 4-6 years old - 6:40 pm
  • 8-12 years old - 7:00 pm
  • 13-17 years old - 7:20 pm
  • Family/Group + 18+ - 7:40 pm
Prizes will be awarded in each category for Most Creative, Scariest, and Best Overall. After judging, head on over to the Candy Drop line for goodies!

Trail of Treats
The easiest Trick-or-Treating ever 

Enter the trail to the left of the Tennis Courts and wind your way through the trail while picking up safely-packaged goodies and treats along the way, no tricks here!

Don't forget to BYOB - Bring your own Bucket/Bag to hold all the treats!

Family Photo Boo-th
Show off your costumes

You've spent way too much money and time planning out the perfect costume(s), make sure to stop by the Family Photo Boo-th to memorialize your efforts. 

All photos will be posted on the 4 FSS Facebook page: facebook.com/sjfss so be on the lookout for your photos and don't forget to tag yourself!

Candy Drop
The best part of Halloween 

Forget costumes, everyone knows the best part of Halloween is the candy. Head on over to the Firetruck where the SJAFB Fire Department will drop candy every 20 minutes! 

Please allow everyone to get a chance to collect candy.
