About us . . .
The Seymour Johnson AFB Veterinary Treatment Facility (VTF) is designed to provide complete veterinary medical care for all Government owned animals and to provide for the prevention and control of zoonotic diseases (transmitted from animal to man).
We are NOT a full service clinic. We do not have an on site veterinarian. Our veterinarian is from Cherry Point, usually two days a week when available. We do not see sick or injured animals and we offer no surgeries. Emergencies can be handled by your local veterinarian or ECVETS in Wilson @ 252-265-9920.
We recommend calling before coming. When we are closed a phone message, as well as signage on the door, will inform you of office hours. All clinic visits are by appointment only, so please call us at (919) 722-1465.

There is no charge for base registration, unless the animal has a requirement that needs to be met. We recommend making an appointment for registration so the records can be checked and info can be given about heartworm prevention and flea and tick issues in this area.
Breeding is NOT allowed on base.
