Season pool pass holders get the benefit of two pools for the price of one: Berkeley Village and The Olympic. Both pools are fully staffed with qualified lifeguards and feature a bath house and snack concessions. Lap Swimming:
This popular activity is offered free of charge at the Olympic Pool from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, AND from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday--for squadron PT use and adults (military and civilian), ages 18 and up.

Pool Parties
The pools may be reserved between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. for private parties lasting a minimum of two hours. Reservations must be made at Outdoor Recreation, 919-722-1104/7437.

    • Lifeguard fees -- $40/hour for up to 50 people.

Swimming Lessons:
Swimming lessons are available. All swimming lessons are held at Berkeley Pool by WSI certified instructors. For class times and fees, call Outdoor Rec at 722-1104.
