Our Olympic Pool is fully staffed with qualified lifeguards, features an awesome water slide, bath house and snack concessions. Season pool passes are available through Outdoor Recreation and on-site when the pool is open. See the POOLS brochure for more details.

Olympic Pool -- Open May 25-Sept 2

• REGULAR HOURS -- 1 to 6 p.m., 6 days a week starting June 7 (closed on Mondays)
  • Pool will be open regular hours May 25-27 and June 1-2
• END OF SEASON* HOURS -- as noted below
  • Aug 27-30 -- 4 to 6 p.m.
  • Aug 31-Sept 2 -- 1 to 6 p.m.
  • Pool closes for the season starting Sept 3

* During early June and late August, pool hours are subject to change based on lifeguard availability.

Lap Swimming:
This popular activity is offered free of charge at the Olympic Pool from 12 to 1 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, for adults, ages 18 and up, who want to exercise.

Pool Parties
The pool may be reserved for private parties. Parties are held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations must be made at Outdoor Recreation, 919-722-1104/7437.

  • Olympic Pool:
    • Reservation fee -- $70 (nonrefundable)
    • Lifeguard fees -- $50/hour for up to 50 people.
      *** Additional lifeguard fee for each additional 50 people -- $25/hour

Daily Fee: $5.00

Season Pool Passes:

• Single: $55
• Family of Two: $70
• Family of Three: $85
• Family of Four: $100
  • Each additional family member: $15
    
    
• Mommy & Me Baby Pool Pass: $30 season, $15 each additional child (age 5 and under) or $15/month, $10 each additional child (age 5 and under)
  *** This pass is for use by parents with children, ages 5 and younger
  *** The pass ONLY applies to the baby pool. Neither the child nor parent may use any other pool with this pass.
  

Swimming Lessons:
Swimming lessons may be available. All swimming lessons are conducted by WSI certified instructors. For class times and fees, call Outdoor Rec at 722-1104.
