The Seymour Johnson AFB FamCamp is surrounded by heavily forested areas and tucked far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the base to ensure quiet relaxation, but close enough that several key support facilities and parks are within easy walking distance.

Open year around the facility features 10 concrete parking pads, gravel overflow area, dumpstation, bathhouse, laundry, picnic tables, grills, handicapped accessibility and area lighting.

RV storage is available for $10 per month to base housing residents and $20 per month to authorized personnel living off-base.

From U.S. 70, East or West, take U.S. 117 South to Arrington Bridge Road turn left onto it. Go to Westbrook and turn left onto it. Go to Slocumb Street and turn right onto it. Slocumb Street will take you straight to the back gate. You must use the back gate for security purposes - USMRA page 45 (K,L-3). The nesrest major city to the area is Raleigh, N.C.

Use of the FamCamp is limited to: Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, Retired Military, DoD Civilian, Retired DoD Civilian, Dependents, and 100% DAV.

No advance reservations. Space is rented on a first come, first served basis. Check in and Check out is is managed by Outdoor Recreation located at 1515 Goodson Street, 919-722-1104/7437.

Daily FamCamp use rate is $15 for regular spaces and $7.50 for overflow spaces. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
