Civilian Personnel Office

The Civilian Personnel Section (CPS) provides Human Resources (HR) service to civilian employees at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and Pope Army Air Field, North Carolina. We provide employment opportunities for federal employees with current career or career-conditional status and individuals with no prior federal service experience.

Our offices provide hands-on internal and external customer service, assisting managers and supervisors in establishing and filling new positions, in-processing and out-processing employees, leave issues, performance awards, priority placement program registration, disciplinary actions, and a full range of employee and labor-management related issues.
